Welcome to Soon To Be Mythical, a conservation-driven apparel brand based in the United States. We started this company because screaming into a pillow about habitat loss wasn't a scalable business model. If we're all witnesses to the Sixth Mass Extinction, we might as well look good while we advocate for change.
Our philosophy is simple: the situation is dire, so our response is gallows humor. We create beautiful, whimsical designs of Earth's most vulnerable creatures—the ones who haven’t yet gotten the memo that they’re supposed to be fading into legend. We’re talking about animals that look like walking pinecones (Pangolins), perpetually smiling amphibians (Axolotls), and other marvels of evolution currently on nature’s endangered list.

We are a registered business operating with full transparency. To remain as eco-friendly as possible, we utilize a print-on-demand production model. This means each item is created especially for you when you order it, which helps reduce overproduction and waste. Our ultimate goal is to go out of business. We want nothing more than for this company to become completely irrelevant. We want these animals to be so common and thriving that a t-shirt calling them “Soon To Be Mythical” makes absolutely no sense.
